About my Drow Demon species (like Milo and his relatives, if you don't know them). There's this disorder that can affect them - they call it Angelus Syndrome. It's a genetic mutation that makes their skin really light, almost white/translucent, their eyes look like a human's (usually blue), and their wings grow feathers over the normal bat wings. Their hair, also, instead of the normal black, white, and gray, becomes more like human's hair, normally brown/red or blonde/gold. They'd be shunned in their society, as it makes them look like angels (in their minds), and most likely those that were afflicted would seclude themselves somewhere instead of trying to lead a normal life. Maybe there's a place called Sanctuary that they are drawn to, that welcomes them?
